Post-Doc position in London

MRC Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology Cell Biology Unit

A post-doctoral position is available at the recently set up MRC Cell 
Biology Unit, part of the MRC Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology 
based at University College London. Projects are available analysing 
the recently characterised pathway by which serotonin modulates 
neurotransmitter release in C.elegans (see Neuron 24, 231-242 and 
335-346). Candidates wishing to study other aspects of 
neurotransmitter release regulation in C.elegans are also encouraged 
to apply. Candidates should have molecular biology expertise and 
experience in genetics or confocal microscopy would be an advantage. 
The MRC LMCB (www.ucl.ac.uk/lmcb) provides excellent support and 
training in molecular and cell signalling and has expertise in a 
number of model systems. In addition, UCL provides a strong and 
thriving neurobiology research community.

The position is available from 1 January 2002 and the salary will be
