Postdoctoral Positions to Study Mitochondrial Physiology
Two postdoctoral positions are currently available to study
cytosolic/mitochondrial Ca2+ signaling. The first position is to
study the role of astrocyte mitochondria in regulating neuronal cell
survival during the aging process. Knock out/in mice will be used as
the primary animal model system in these studies. The second
position will focus on the mitochondrial Ca2+ signaling using C.
elegans as a model system. Both positions will utilize single-photon
and multi-photon imaging techniques to measure in vivo physiological
parameters. Candidates with experience in either imaging, genetic or
molecular techniques will be considered. Please include CV,
