Sup-1 x-ray induced allele

Ah!  You need to read up on C elegans genetic nomenclature 
(http://biosci.umn.edu/CGC/Nomenclature/nomencl.htm).  e995 is the 
allele.  One is permitted to add a few lower-case letters after the 
allele name as a hint about its characteristics: that's what 'xri' 
is.  e995, e995xri, sup-1(e995), sup-1(e995xri), sup-1(e995xri) III 
all mean the same thing -- they just differ in the amount of extra 
information they contain.
