THREE TENURE-EARNING POSITIONS IN CELL / DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGY
The Department of Biology at the University of Central Florida seeks highly
qualified applicants for three tenure-earning positions at either the
Assistant or Associate Professor level. Applicants at the Assistant
Professor level should have a Ph.D., postdoctoral experience, and
outstanding potential to attract external research funding. Applicants at
the Associate Professor level should additionally have a strong record of
publications and extramural funding. We seek individuals studying plant or
animal model systems in any contemporary area of Cell and Developmental
Biology or Developmental Genetics. Startup packages will be very
competitive. Successful applicants will also be expected to contribute to
teaching in the undergraduate core curriculum and teach at the graduate
level in their specialty to MS and Ph.D. students. Biology graduate faculty
currently participate in the Ph.D. in Biomolecular Sciences program.

plans and a statement of teaching philosophy, along with names and addresses
