Hi,
I am currently working with a strain of Panagrellus redivivus. I am
interested in separating my synchronised P. redivivus worms by gender
(rather than hermaphrodites and males this strain contains males and
females). Does any body have any ideas how this might be possible? At
present I have potential methods; density gradient centrifugation, picking
the worms individually and a protocol I found in the WBG, which states that
C. elegans males could be isolated through a mesh.
Rather than jumping in head first, I thought I might seak wisdom. Any advice
and ideas would be gratefully received.
Many thanks,
Yours, Tom Laws.
