We are using a couple of nematode strains with GFP reporters for HSP
production. These are strains obtained from CGC, not transformed in-house.
We are having problems with high background fluorescence in both wild type
(N2) worms and in the reporter gene strains kept in pleasant conditions.
Worms are being fed on OP50 and kept using standard procedures.
We would be grateful for any suggestions of what might be causing
autofluorescence, and how we might reduce it.
