Does anyone know where, at present, to purchase platinum wire for making worm
picks? I haven't bought any in a long time, and the wire I used to buy from
VWR is no longer available. I am looking for 28 ga, 99.9% platinum wire. I
know if it is less pure, it doesn't cool fast enough after flaming. And the
diameter has to be close to this or it won't work; too large is as bad as too
small.
