Hi,
I'd like to tag my favorite membrane associated protein (a sensory
neuron ion-channel ) with something in addition to GFP. Does anyone
have any suggestions for which tags (ie, FLAG, MYC, HA) work best for
membrane proteins that are expressed at low levels in very restricted
patterns? Ideally I would do immunocytochemistry to reveal the tag so
I'd like to know which tags and antibodies perform best in fixed worms
(what fixation protocol do you use?).
