[Celegans] streptomycin resistant OP50 strain

Hello,

recently I read a paper (Weinkove et al., BMC Biology 2006, 4:1) using streptomycin resistant bacteria called OP50-1. Is there any information about this bacteria? Does the use of these bacteria alter the charcteristics of C. elegans worms? Where can I obtain this bacteria strain?
