Dear All,
mIn1 is an inversion of a large central portion of chromosome II
extending from lin-31 to rol-1 (Edgley and Riddle Mol. Genet.
Genomics 266:385-95, 2001). The right breakpoint is between rol-1
(Y57A10A.11) and jsP301 (a SNP in F35C5), a region spanning about
700kb. Has anyone determined the exact right breakpoint for mIn1? We
are considering balancing an allele in Y57A10A.15, which would be
very close to the breakpoint; is something that close to the
breakpoint likely to be effectively balanced?
