Postdoctoral Position : degenerative disease pathogenesis and treatment
A 3-year postdoctoral position is immediately available in the Neri lab
to investigate degenerative disease pathogenesis and treatment. The
research focus is to apply state of the art fluorescence imaging to
study cell decline mechanisms in vivo. Research will be primarily based
on C. elegans. Previous experience in C. elegans genetics is mandatory.
An excellent background in molecular and cellular biology is required.
Previous experience in surpervising 2-3 people will be a plus. A strong
interest in degenerative diseases is desirable. There is no restriction
on the citizenship of applicants.
