I've been trying to find out the specific type of bacteria which inhabit
the 'lure' of the anglerfish or 'monkfish'. I understand there are many
tupes of this fish. The bacteria is 'luminescent'. I've been asking around
and haven't been able to find out. Then I thought maybe someone here may
know?
This is in regards to an article I read from the "Danish Institute of
Fisheries Research" in which they stated that they found that a strain of
Pseudomonas spp. bacteria found on a carcass seemed to inhibit a Vibrio..
strain.
Any ideas?
