Hi, I don't know whether this is appropriate for this newsgroup but, I
wanted to know how much of the ocean floor we have surveyed, if we've been
to the deepest part of the ocean (I think the Trieste did but I wasn't sure)
Also how many different species do you think htere are in the oceans that we
haven't discovered as of yet? Do you think any of hte mysterious sightings
could have to do with some of these unknown species surfacing above their
usual territorial waters?
Any answers would be gratefully recieved. Has anyone heard anymore about the
new submersible in development that looks a bit like an aircraft, it has a
domed frontal viewport and can 'apparently' go deeper and faster than any
other submarine?
