The 30th issue of Deep-Sea Newsletter, edited by Torben Wolff and Mary =

Petersen, is in preparation. It will include a report from the 9th =
Deep-Sea
Biology Symposium in Galway and several other items. If any of you have
contributions you would like to have included, please contact one of us =
as
soon as possible. The deadline for this issue is 15 October.
Items of interest include brief reports of ongoing research and planned
projects, recent meetings, new equipment, book reviews, problems, =
enigmas,
research requests - in short, anything you yourselves find worthy of
informal circulation to an interested readership. Good, reproducible
illustrations or photos (especially from the Galway meeting!) are very
welcome, as jpg or similar files if possible, otherwise as hard copy.=20
