Subject: luminescent algae
Can anyone tell me what I saw? It's usually seen this time of year in
salt water. I only notice it when rowing out to the boat(I'm a
commercial fisherman) when the oars stirr the water up. What ever it is
only seems to glow when it is moved. I never thought much of it before
but the other morning there was a pile of rope on the platform that
needed to be moved and when I grabbed some almost the entire pile lit
up, it was quite impressive and surprising. When it glows it only does
so for a second of so. Well if anyone could tell me what it is I would
