I was the dive master/biologist on two expeditions out to the seamount
in the late 1970's. Dr. D. Jones of Simon Fraser University was the
lead scientist and the Canadian Navy tranported out there.

We placed a sediment trap on the mount on the first trip and retrieved
it on a second. I have a number of still slides and some 1` video
taken on the second trip. I am not at all sure of the quality of the
tape at this date but perhaps the Canadian Broadcating Corp may have
an archive that has survived.

We made a number of dives onto the mount with minimal in-water
decompression, saw no sharks but MILLIONS of snapper.
