hi, i am a 25 year old female staring an nvq 3 in marine science as a self study via internet, unfortunately i wont get any experience from studying at home as i would do in a science lab. i have been offered a placement in a marine biology national diploma at truro college for 2 years which at the end is offering an intern for 2 months for the experience. I study best at home so would have more time to do it via open university but would like to get the experience at the end also.
Could you tell me what kinds of courses there are available to me and roughly how much the interns would cost. just some voluntary conservation work amongst other qualified marine science workers. Any other routes I could go down to experience the natural habitat abroad and learn diving at the same time would be much appreciated.
