This conference is the first meeting devoted exclusively to the use and 
application of magnetic microspheres in the 
basic and clinical sciences. The aim of this meeting is to 
bring together scientists from research, universities and 
industries involved in the magnetic and clinical sciences,
to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information in 
this cross-disciplinary field and to promote innovative 
industrial applications.
