The brightest "ultrabright" LEDs I know about are as follows:

RED: Newark Electronics, tel #44 1 420 543500, Device code AND130CR,
output 8 candelas
GREEN: M.I.CABLES, #44 1 463 717448/9. contact Fraser Wilson.
 Device code 110104, output 6 candelas (~stlg. 19.00 each)
GREEN: MARL International Ltd, Tel #44 1 229 582430
UK Sales Manage David Moorhouse, Device code 110104, output
3.0-6.0candelas, 525nm, 15degrees viewing angle
BLUE: MARL International, Device code NLP1000, output 600+mcd

As far as I am aware, these are the brightest LED devices currently
available (If anyone knows of brighter I would be most grateful for
information about sources). If you need even more forward intensity a laser
diode might be worth investigating.

Don't know how these intensities relate to your moles - insufficient
information is provided (moles per what illuminated area per what time, at what
distance from source?).
One candela = 1/683 watts per steradian at lambda = 540x10^12 Hz
