Hi everybody,

For the time being I am analysing data from a comparative study of the
microclimate in
four (4) different stands of winter wheat in Denmark (Europe). The stands
are differing
in leaf area index, LAI (total as well as vertical distribution).
Differences were
"manipulated" by combining seed rate and N-fertilisation strategy. Our
interested in
"stand-microclimate" is related to observed differences in disease progress.

In this context microclimate refers to temperature and relative humidity in
the canopy.
Observations at 15, 30 and 45 cm above ground are available.

I have found it really hard to find related studies. The only papers I have
been able
to idenfify so far are:

* Penman & Long, 1960. Q.J.R: Met. Soc., 86
* Graser, Verma, Rosenberg, 1987. Agric. & Forest Met.,41
* Castro, Isard, Irwin, 1991. Agric. & Forest. Met., 57
* Jacobs, van Boxel, Shaw, 1992. Neth. J. Agric. Sci., 40
* Tompkins, Fowler, Wright, 1993. Can. J. Plant. Sci., 73
*
If you have been involved in related work or if you know of related studies,
relevant
papers, reports, proceedings ....... I would be very grateful if you would
inform me.

Thank you.

:-) Ege Friis
