A disk problem on an important NCBI server resulted
in a downtime for GenBank Incremental Update products,
from Friday May 04 2007 through Sunday May 06 2007.
Processing resumed on the morning of Monday May 07,
and nc0507 GIU products were made available at
approximately 10:30am EDT. The content of the 0507
products spans the period of the downtime.
(Note: RefSeq Update products were similarly affected.)
Our thanks to the NCBI systems group, for working
over the weekend to restore the affected hardware.
We regret any inconvenience that this downtime may
have caused for our users.
