I am a researcher working on an unculturable mycoplasma. To date, I have
cloned the 16S rRNA gene, and it appears to be related to M. pneumonia.
The next step is going to be to try and determine genome size. Does
anyone have any suggestions on how to attempt this? Since it it
unculturable, we have a limited amount of DNA to work with. Any
suggestions would be appreciated.
