Hi. I was wondering if there are resources
(internet, books, journals,
etc.) out there that deal with the molecular biology
of disease? I am
most interested in sickle cell anemia. I'm looking
for information
such as map location of the gene, structure of the
gene (size, number
of nucleotides, number of amino acids), transcripts
(number of types,
etc.) and mutations (variants) of the gene. Can
anyone recommend
resources? Thanks.
