Mr. Czeschlik is quite right. Quality of text, reviewing, etc, are important
factors. My only point was that if, at times of financial stress, libraries are
forced to cut back, then the many journals which offer quality PLUS a
reasonable price, are likely to be the winners. Authors may want to publish in
journals which are going to stay the course and not be lost at the first shake
out.
