Progress at last! Paris conference organized by ISCU and UNESCO agree on
principles such as:
Setting up secure archive
Common standards for indexing and retrieval
Digital date stamps
Two tier system...peer reviewed and non-peer reviewed
Possibility of updating contributions
I have suggested that date should be part of the access information,
using analogy with present paper literature. For example:
Smith, J. (1996) Bionet.journals.note 429:812
where the "volume" number 429 stands for April 29th
"page" number 812 stands for 12 minutes past 8.
