Thank you for this interesting discussion, there is a practical question.
Could you recommend a biological/biochemical online-and-printed journal(s) (or Web sites with list of them), that would
hold the same principles of publishing and copyright, as listed above ? I'm interseted in publishing papers on protein
spatial
structure analysis. For my limited experience, there is only one journal
that more or less "democratic" in this regard: it is "Frontiers in Biosciences"
(http://www.bioscience.org), but - you may understand the problem- possibly no one could publish, for example, 5-7
papers a year in one journal...
