Research Positions.
Postdoctoral and/or research assistant (MS) positions are immediately
available to study the biochemistry and molecular biology of starch
synthesis in cereal crops. The individual is also required to conduct
research in isolating genes affecting other grain traits. Candidates must
have a proven track-record with at least two years direct research
experience and a good training in protein purification, enzymology and
molecular genetics. Expertise in characterizing transgenic
plants, transposon-tagging and some knowledge of starch structure analysis
