I have been asked by Jim Giles at the Science Museum, London UK, to investigate
if it is possible for anybody in the maize community to supply him with a few
"highly visible maize mutants" Jim is part of a team developing a major new
biomedical exhibition at the Science Museum (this will be seen by Millions!!).
The exhibition will include a section on development and within that section, a
look at mutations. They are hoping to display some of the more interesting
examples of maize mutants, both natural and forced. They want real (dead)
plants, but since they will be on display for a long period of time they may
have to be preserved in some way. This is something that the museum could
arrange.
So my question is: can anybody help? If you do have a suggestion then either

myself (address below). If you could supply material directly to Jim that's
great, but if it needs to be grown up, then I am happy to do this at Long
