Please bring this ad for two faculty positions to the attention of

PLANT MOLECULAR BIOLOGISTS. The Ohio State University.

Two tenure-track positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor levels are
available in PLANT MOLECULAR BIOLOGY/BIOTECHNOLOGY.  Successful candidates
will be expected to establish a strong, creative and competitive research
program.   Applicants addressing fundamental aspects of plant development,
plant-microbe interactions, cell biology, genomics, or the regulation of
metabolism are especially encouraged, but applications will be seriously
considered in any important area of plant molecular biology or pathology.
Competitive salaries, setup funds, and research facilities will be
provided.  It is anticipated that these positions will be made in the
Departments of Plant Biology and Plant Pathology. Participation in the
teaching program of the home department is expected.  Applicants must have
a PhD and an established record of research independence and productivity.

teaching experience and interests, and three letters of recommendation to
