its relatives, and for potentials for understanding and improving corn by
using the
knowledge and genes from its relatives. I am forwarding your note to the

One suggestion: In the Maize Genome Database,
http://www.agron.missouri.edu/, go to Query, select All Attributes, select
Species. In the Synonym field, enter
teosinte and Submit. The different species of teosinte will come up, and
you can see the references that are there and progress from there to
connections with those references. The MaizeDB is not an encyclopedia-like
reference, but a source of leads to information sources.
