Graduate Research Assistant, PENN STATE
Molecular mapping of disease resistance and salt tolerance genes in tomato

A Graduate Research Assistantship is available for a qualified M.Sc. or
Ph.D. student to conduct research in the area of tomato genetics and
breeding. Multidisciplinary research project seeking to use conventional
techniques of plant breeding and contemporary techniques of molecular
mapping to understand the underlying genetic control of fungal disease
resistance and salt tolerances in the genus Lycopersicon. The incumbent may
also be expected to serve as a Teaching Assistant in the Department. Send
