Francis Glenn of Glenn Seeds in Blenheim, Ont., Canada has developed
several silage-specific corn hybrids based on the "Leafy" gene. These
hybrids are not recommended for grain production due to poor late season
standability and low test weight, but they do produce graion. I am not
aware of a non grain producing corn, but I suspect that such a line might
be a challenge to maintain.
