flavonoids and searching

In response to the query about flavonoids in maize seeds:
Yes, emphatically, there are flavonoids in maize seeds.  Anthocyanins
are the visible pigments in 'black', purple, blue, and red aleurone
tissue.  Other, colorless flavonoids are present in various genotypes,
though not at high levels in field corn seeds (but in other tissues,
yes).   Search MaizeDB; the literature and data are extensive:
