POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS: FUNCTIONAL AND COMPARATIVE GENOMICS OF
NBS-LRR ENCODING GENES
Two postdoctoral positions at KSU are available for the above project,
recently funded by the NSF Plant Genome Program.
Objectives:
To identify and characterize orthologous NBS-LRR genes in rice and
maize. To initiate functional characterization of members representing
each class.
Applicants should have a strong background in molecular biology and
an interest in genomics approaches to gene function.
