Black Mexican I have seen equated to Black Aztec as well --
In my growout this year of Black Aztec, I noticed about 4% of
the stalks exhibiting "hermaphrodite" characteristics --
kernels on the tassel as well as ears. Now, I am no expert,
just an interested amateur -- but as I have not noticed
this before other than an odd single kernel, I thought
it might be worth inquiring. Each tassel with kernels has
between ten and 30 kernels on it. Anyone know more about
this phenomenon -- or the proper term for it?
