Dear maize friends:
I am a PhD student at the Max Planck institute in Cologne. The aim
of my work is the characterization of some transcription factors
putatively involved in the regulation of the nitrogen assimilation
pathway. It would be interesting to find possible partners, however the
full length clone seems to be a strong selfactivator in the classical
GAL4 2-hyb system. Does anyone have a cDNA maize library based on a
different reporter system.
(I have identified already the AD of the protein, but the
non-selfactivation protein seems to lose as well the interaction
faculty)
