I do not know what I could add, but Iowa State University built two houses
during World War II with corn cobs for insulation. They were on Sunset
Drive in Ames Iowa near the campus. They are still standing as they had a
cement block structure. You may inquire with the University for further
details. l do not know what department was involved with this enterprise...PAP
