Are there any easily obtained reliable plant growth stages between
beginning dent and black layer for corn? I'm aware of R5 and R6.
Additionally, what are some reasonable expected ranges of kernel
wt/day increases during the linear phase of grain fill. In other words,
what value might be considered high.
