Quantitative Molecular Genetics in Arabidopsis
An exciting opportunity exists for a talented individual to use Lynx's
state-of-the-art genomic approaches for identifying genes associated with
quantitative multigenic traits in Arabidopsis. This position will require a
Ph. D. and, preferably, at least 3 years of experience in gene
identification by expression or mapping approaches. Experience with cDNA
library construction and a background in evolutionary or quantitative
genetics will also be necessary. In addition to running a research group,
the successful candidate will need to manage collaborations in the public
sector and with other companies, and will be expected to validate the best
approaches for identifying trait-associated genes in other species.
