In my experience many traits have an independent cold vigor distribution, so
first I would define what trait you want to evaluate the distribution of
phenotypes. Germination percentage, early season color, early season
growth, days to flowering, seed set, and days to black layer are among the
various traits have seen vary for cold tolerance in both experimental and
commercial genetics.
