The parasitic plant Striga is an agriculturally devastating pest in Africa
and other developing countries. Join an interdisciplinary team using
Arabidopsis and Triphysaria genomics to discover molecular mechanisms
regulating plant-plant interactions. The goal of the project is to develop
Striga resistant crops through gene discovery, engineering and
biotechnology.

Post doctoral positions available in September 2000. Experience in molecular
biology, biochemistry, functional genomics, and/or bioinformatics highly
desirable.
