Graduate Assistantship. A research assistantship is available for study leading to the M.S. or Ph.D. degree. Research will focus on mapping heat tolerance genes in corn with DNA markers. The student will become a member of a multiple disciplinary program on corn drought and heat tolerance. The research team involves scientists from Texas A&M University System and Texas Tech University. The assistantship provides a competitive stipend plus medical insurance.
