Postdoc Position, Institute for Genomic Diversity, Cornell University
Available immediately. This position is an integral part of a
research program aimed at describing and quantifying genetic
variation in U.S. Corn Belt maize using SSR markers, within the
context of conservation genetics, population genetics, and breeding.
Responsibilities include experimental design, collection, analyzing,
and publication of data, presentation of results in scientific
journals and at meetings, writing grant proposals.
Requirements: Ph.D. and research experience in Plant Biology, Plant
Breeding, Genetics, or related field. Excellent verbal and writing
skills, ability to work well with staff, visiting scientists, and
