Molecular Biologist, R.A., Genetics Group - Position Number RMYS33-09
Major Responsibilities: Researcher needed to join the Genetics group.
This individual will work as part of a team in research discovery to
isolate agronomically important genes. The researcher will work
closely with project teams to develop and perform phenotypic
evaluations on plants, allowing for the identification of genetic
alterations affecting key traits. Interaction with cross-functional
teams including genomics, yield and quality traits will be critical.
Qualifications/Competencies: A strong molecular biology, physiology
and/or genetics background is required. The successful candidate
should have working experience with designing experiments analyzing
and interpreting data and managing projects. Bachelor's degree with
experience required, MS/Ph.D. preferred. The ideal candidate should
possess excellent communication, organizational and writing skills
and demonstrate the ability to work in a team-based environment.
