Research Leader in wheat functional genomics

Wheat Developmental Geneticist

Applications are invited for a project leader position at the Institute
of Arable Crops Research (IACR)-Long Ashton to initiate a research
programme in the area of wheat developmental genetics. The successful
candidate will build on current strengths in wheat biology in the
institute particularly related to grain development, and will use and
develop gene expression technologies, including transcriptome analysis.

Ideally candidates should hold a postgraduate qualification in
molecular biology/molecular genetics, with experience of transcriptome
analysis of gene expression. This position is for five years in the
first instance, will be to Pay Band 5-SPD, with a salary in the range
of £24,200 - £28,000 per annum and is superannuable with 25 days annual
leave.
