Transcriptome analysis of wheat seed development
Applications are invited for two posts at the Institute of Arable Crops
Research (IACR)-Long Ashton. These positions are funded by the BBSRC Gene
Flow Initiative, and will use transcriptome resources and approaches to
analyse the molecular biology of wheat seed development.
Plant Molecular Biologist: Candidates should hold a postgraduate
qualification in molecular biology/molecular genetics. The appointment
will be to Pay Band 6-PD, with a salary in the range of 19,500 - 23,00
UKpounds per annum. Ref: 06/01
Research Technician: Candidates should hold a graduate qualification in
biology. The appointment will be to Pay Band 7, with a salary in the range
of 15,300 - 17,800 UKpounds per annum. Ref: 07/01
Both posts are for three years, are superannuable with 25 days annual leave.
