The Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for a
tenure-track Assistant Professorship in Plant Molecular Genetics to
begin August 16, 2002. Desirable areas of specialization include
development, cell biology, functional genomics and host-pathogen
interactions. The successful applicant is expected to develop an
extramurally-funded research program, contribute to training of B.S.,
M.S. and Ph.D. students, and participate in our M.S. Biotechnology
Sequence. Postdoctoral experience required. Teaching
responsibilities include an undergraduate genetics course for majors
and a graduate course in plant molecular biology. To assure full
