Good evening, My name is Heather Paleczny and I am a graduate
student at Rutgers University in New Jersey. I am proposing a mock
research project on the effects of elevated CO2 on corn (sweet corn) and
I have to know the life cycle to see when a good time to start my
measurements would be. I am proposing to grow the corn from seeds; when
would be a good time to measure photosynthetic rate etc. in other words
how long until I can take a few leaves from one plant? Thank you for
