Regulation in Plants
Lehman College, The City University of New York

The City University of New York (CUNY) is undertaking a major

active plant sciences doctoral program that is a long-standing
partnership between CUNY and the New York Botanical Garden
(http://a32.lehman.cuny.edu/PlantPhD). Ongoing research in plant
biology at CUNY includes: biotechnology, metabolic engineering of
plant biosynthetic pathways, natural product biochemistry, medicinal
plants and economic botany, signal transduction, plant-microbial
interactions, in vitro production of plant natural products, plant
development, cell biology, ecology, biodiversity and systematics.
Successful candidates will be expected to establish and/or sustain
active, independent programs of extramurally funded research in
designated areas; teach at both the undergraduate and graduate
