I'm interested in purchasing one of the commercially available maize
BAC libraries but first I would like to find out what kind of success
rate people have had with the different sets. The three available
from Clemson University are:
ZMMBBa [B73 (Pindigo)]
ZMMBBb (NSF B73)
ZMMBBc (CHORI201)
Can anyone give me some advice about how easy it is to correctly
identify positive clones in these sets and how many times the filters
can be reused? Any recommendations for/against each of these three
libraries (or other available libraries) would be greatly appreciated.
